Q: Is there anyway of selecting index location of the dhtml tab according to what webpage you are on ?
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

Q: I'm having difficulty understanding how to set up css drop down menus. The differences between menuStyles, itemStyles, CSS and CSSText is very unclear, and doesn't seem to be well documented.

We have several examples of the menus using css.
You should set var cssStyle=1; parameter and then assign your stylesto the items.
var cssSubmenu is a CSS class name for all submenus. You can set, forexample, background color, background image, borders for all submenus.
var cssItem is CSS class names for all items (normal state, mouseoverstate) in the top menu and submenus.
var cssItemText is CSS class names for text of all items (normalstate, mouseover state) in the top menu and submenus.
It's possible to appoint individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu using individual item styles and individual submenu styles.
Q: I used JavaScript Tree Menu and generated a beautiful drop down navigation menu for our school web page. however, I am using MS FrontPage and apparently it is blocking the content. Whenever I bring it into the program all I get is a text drop down navigation menu. What am I doing or not doing?
A: JavaScript Tree Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the drop down navigation menuinto your html page:
1. create and save .js file with your menu parameters in Deluxe Tuner
2. open the page in Frontpage
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:

You should copy all engine files and images for the drop down navigation menu in "deluxe-menu.files/" folder and paste it in the same folder with you .html files.
